To avoid confusion, here is a glossary of the meanings of the terms used:

| Single: | one, single, bed |
| Double: | (in hotels), one Double bed (e.g., for a couple, or very good friends!) |
| Double Apartment: | (on campus) 2 single bedrooms, with an adjoining living area. |
| Twin: | two Single beds in the room |
| Triple: | (in hotels), usually means one double bed and 1 single bed in a room |

The accommodation available within the campus reflects the various architectural
periods through which the College has been in existence. The rooms range from older
traditional student style accommodation in buildings of character, right up to
modern buildings where the rooms have private bathroom facilities. The varying
styles of accommodation ensure that there is something suitable for all tastes
and budgets. Rooms are priced from €35.00 to €69.00 per person per night and include a
continental breakfast.

Type A: Standard

Located mainly
in the historic courtyards of the campus, this accommodation consists of
single study bedrooms or double apartments containing two single bedrooms
and a lounge. There are also a small number of twin rooms available. Situated
within adjoining houses around the historic squares, these rooms share
bathroom and shower facilities, and most rooms have washbasins. All rooms
have access to kitchenettes for light catering. Click on the image to the left for a larger view

| Type C: Ensuite
En-suite accommodation offers the visitor to Trinity College modern facilities within a truly historic location. Single and twin study bedrooms with private bathroom facilities are available, many with unique views of the grounds and architecture of the College. All rooms have access to a kitchenette for light self-catering.
Newly refurbished double apartments are also available. These rooms are fully self contained with two single bedrooms and a livingroom, kitchen and bathroom. Click on the images to the right for a larger view
