Call for Animations:
An Animation Theatre will be screened during the conference.
Authors are invited to enter the competition for the 1000 Euro prize,
sponsored by Pixar!. Additional awards will be made to the best entries in the three submission categories (3D, 2D, Mixed media) and for the best Student Entry. Depending on the number of submissions, the jury may decide to award best entries in specialized areas such as: Scientific Demo, Independent Short Film, Commercials, Real-Time Animation, Feature Film, Making-of. The results will be announced at the EG05 Awards session.

This year, the submission process will be entirely on-line. You can register here to provide your contact data and upload three stills (300 dpi) and one video file. To ease the submission and the work of the jury, we accept any format that can be viewed with the open source player VideoLan. The submission size should not exceed 50 MB. Upon acceptance the authors will have to provide the final version both for projection and for integration into the Animation theater DVD. The format will have to comply with special technical requirements given in the detailed procedure and rules.
- RELATED EVENTS -
Mundos Digitales will take place from June 25th to July 2nd in A Coruņa, Spain. Entries can include computer animation, traditional animation, and mixed media shorts.
